Iskra Petkova — Podology Expert
My name is Iskra Petkova, and I am from Varna.
I have many years of practical experience in manicure, cosmetic and medical pedicure.
In my work, I specialize in solving various problems with feet and nails, I am proficient in modern podiatry methods and am constantly improving my professional skills. For me, it is important not only to achieve an aesthetic result, but also to ensure the health of the client, a lasting result, and an individual approach.
Your therapeutic pedicure specialist
My professional practice focuses on providing comprehensive care to patients with various foot and nail disorders. There are no universal solutions in podiatry, as each situation requires accurate diagnosis, individual selection of techniques, and high precision. This approach is the basis of my daily work.
Striving for the most predictable and sustainable results, I use the innovative Plasma Health gas ionization technology in my practice. This technique promotes the activation of regenerative processes, reduces inflammatory reactions, and accelerates tissue repair, allowing for significant positive dynamics to be achieved even in the early stages of therapy.
My goal is not only to improve the aesthetic appearance of the feet, but also to restore their functional health, reduce pain, and improve the patient’s quality of life. I invite you to visit my center, where a professional approach, safety, and care for each client are the main principles of our work.
Our services
We provide comprehensive podiatric care for diabetic foot syndrome with mandatory assessment of sensitivity, skin and nail condition, as well as risk factors for the development of neuropathies and angiopathies. We use gentle and safe techniques aimed at improving microcirculation, activating regeneration processes, and reducing inflammatory reactions.
A podiatrist performs professional hardware treatment of the nail plate, followed by preparation of the nail for effective application of antimycotic agents. The use of low-temperature plasma (gas ionization technology) enhances the effect of the drugs due to its pronounced antiseptic effect and increased tissue permeability, which contributes to deeper and more effective treatment.
A comprehensive podiatric approach includes nail treatment, removal of calluses and areas of hyperkeratosis, as well as prevention of cracks, which is especially important for patients with diabetes and sensitive skin. The technologies used promote tissue regeneration and reduce the risk of inflammatory complications. Painful calluses are removed gently and atraumatically, without the risk of damaging healthy tissue and without the need for self-correction at home.
Correction systems are used to restore the physiologically correct growth of the nail plate in cases of ingrown, deformed, or injured nails. Additional plasma treatment reduces inflammation of the nail folds, promotes faster tissue recovery, and makes the correction process as comfortable and safe as possible for the client.

What is plasma and how does it work?
Plasma is the fourth state of matter, alongside solid, liquid, and gas. It is formed as a result of gas ionization, in which electrons are separated from atoms and molecules, forming a stream of active charged particles with pronounced physical and biological properties. Thanks to these properties, plasma is widely used in medicine and aesthetic practice, including skin and nail care.
Specialized equipment is used to create a controlled plasma discharge that acts locally on the skin. This action promotes the selective removal of damaged cells, the activation of natural regeneration processes, and accelerated tissue healing without damaging healthy areas.
PlasmaHealth gas ionization technology is used in podiatry for safe, controlled, and highly accurate treatment of problem areas on the skin of the feet. The method allows for localized treatment without damaging surrounding healthy tissue, which is especially important when treating sensitive and vulnerable skin.
Plasma treatment is used to treat cracks, ingrown toenails without trauma, areas of hyperkeratosis and rough skin, as well as warts, corns, and calluses. In addition, the technology effectively stimulates the healing of microcracks and superficial wounds by activating the skin’s natural regenerative processes.
Low-temperature plasma has a pronounced antiseptic effect, ensuring skin disinfection, improving microcirculation, and accelerating tissue regeneration. The technique is highly delicate and painless, eliminating the risk of thermal burns and damage to healthy structures, making it safe even for patients with increased risks.

How are PlasmaHealth procedures performed?
The PlasmaHealth procedure is a modern, scientifically based approach to improving the condition and appearance of the skin. The treatment is based on a clearly structured protocol, which allows each session to be tailored to the individual characteristics and needs of the patient’s skin.
The first step is a professional skin diagnosis, which allows for an objective assessment of its current condition. The analysis takes into account key parameters, including moisture level, elasticity, skin barrier condition, and the presence of impurities or functional disorders.
Based on the data obtained, a detailed consultation is conducted. The specialist explains the results of the diagnosis, discusses the expected goals, and works with the client to develop a personalized treatment plan. Special attention is paid to assessing risk factors and possible contraindications, which ensures a high level of safety and predictability of results.
Thanks to this systematic and individual approach, each PlasmaHealth procedure is tailored to the specific needs of the skin and aims to achieve a lasting and clinically proven effect.

- likdoorns
- wratten
- hyperkeratose
- schimmelinfecties van huid en nagels
- beginnende ingegroeide teennagels
- trage wondgenezing (diabetische voet)
- ontstekingen, zwellingen, pijnen
- hielen
- tenen
- bal van de voet
- gebied van de ingegroeide nagel
- tussen de tenen
- wratten op de voetzolen
Ja, de belangrijkste contra-indicaties zijn:
- acute ontstekingsprocessen in het lichaam
- kanker in actieve behandelfase
- zwangerschap
- aanwezigheid van een pacemaker
- epilepsie
